Nature of Dread

A gritty first-person action-horror where you awaken trapped in the cursed settlement of Hellhole—a forsaken place swallowed by the northern wilderness. Fight your way out of this nightmare’s depths and uncover what has been buried under top-secret clearance for centuries.

Caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, you awaken in the classified settlement of Hellhole. Built as humanity’s final bulwark in a war that has raged for over a millennium, it was designed to contain an ancient evil.
Here, in desperate attempts to stop it, people tried to contain it, isolate it, and study it—only for decades of military experiments to bury the truth even deeper.

The borders of the settlement were sealed tight, access was forbidden, and everything that happened—and still happens—within its perimeter remains buried beneath layers of secrecy.

Now, thrust into this centuries-old conflict, you must decide how far you are willing to go to protect what truly matters to you.

Face a nightmare given flesh, fight for your life, and uncover the horrifying truth about the nature of this place.
