Sonic Advance: Souped Up is a comprehensive level design and balance ROM hack of the 2001 Game Boy Advance title Sonic Advance. Developed by Soupio777, the project serves as an overhaul modification designed to improve the original gameplay experience by refining controversial layout choices while preserving the foundational vanilla mechanics.The hack places a heavier emphasis on classic-style momentum and speed by eliminating prominent speed traps, adjusting item placements, and introducing entirely new level pathways. To fix notorious difficulty spikes, the modification systematically covers up disruptive bottomless pits, adds crucial oxygen options to underwater segments, and alters hazardous boss arenas to ensure fairer, more consistent platforming.

Tarina

The nefarious scientist Dr. Eggman has launched a treacherous new scheme to conquer the globe and construct his ultimate empire. To stop his tyrannical plans, Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles "Tails" Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, and Amy Rose unite to dismantle his robotic army. The group must sprint through a variety of hazardous environments, recover the mystical seven Chaos Emeralds, and put a permanent end to Dr. Eggman’s machinations before the world falls entirely under his control.
